Creative Arts Launches Library Product Line - 1/4/2006

Creative Arts Unlimited, Inc., a design/build company with a background in library, hospital and retail environments, proudly announces the launch of its innovative product line, consisting of prefabricated decor solutions for public and university libraries. Some of the products will be displayed March 21-25 at the Public Library Association conference and trade show.

The product line includes educational wall art, decorative acoustical wall panels, specialty furniture, entryways, and three-dimensional signs that can be ordered as is or customized to fit a specific space, theme, or color scheme.

A series of graphic wall art panels can serve three functions: decoration, education and, in some styles, acoustic noise reduction. “We believe the multipurpose panels are unique in the library industry,” says Creative Arts Unlimited President Roger Barganier.

Several of the designs illustrate basic color and design principles, including Color Harmony and Balance exercises as outlined by Johannes Itten and Josef Albers, two Bauhaus artists and teachers. Each educational panel comes with a museum-type plaque which explains the principle the panel demonstrates.

The line also includes sculpted archways, appliqued murals and furniture for children’s areas, as well as adult, young adult and café sections.
