Creative Arts Celebrates an Award Winning Year- 3/1/2007
PINELLAS PARK, FL (March 1, 2007) - 2006 was a good year for Creative Arts Unlimited, Inc. The Pinellas Park-based design/build firm - known for many years for its stunning themed interiors for retail giants such as FAO Schwartz, Macy's, and Walt Disney World, as well as its high-quality displays for museums, libraries, and healthcare facilities such as the Mayo Clinic and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospitals - took home national honors in 2006 for two projects in the Tampa Bay area.
Following the electrical fire that destroyed South Florida Museum's Bishop Planetarium in 2001, Creative Arts designed and built a first-class lobby and theater. The Planetarium earned Creative Arts the Architectural Woodwork Institute's (AWI) nationally-recognized 2006 Award of Excellence.
The Luna Restaurant at the new Hilton Hotel in St. Petersburg's Carillon Park, received Best Overall Design Honors from Surface Fabrication Magazine for 2006 for its innovative, illuminated bar and opulent dining room - all designed, fabricated, and installed by Creative Arts.
Creative Arts Unlimited has been designing custom and themed architectural and decorative products for clients nationwide since 1992. Most of its products are fabricated in its modern thirty-four thousand square-foot facility equipped with high-technology woodworking, metal fabrication, and acrylic forming machinery.
